1Follow the directions for making a single loaf in the stand mixer, to the point where the dough is ready to form.
2Grate the cheese to your desired fineness and mix into the dough.
3Scoop into a greased loaf pan (you can purchase the perfect loaf pan from our store) and form the top with a wetted spatula (see our instructional video).
4Place in a warm, location (an oven with the light on is ideal) and let rise for 30-40 minutes, or until small holes begin to appear on the surface.
5Preheat the oven to 350 F and place the loaf on a middle rack for 40-45 minutes, or until the surface is golden and the loaf sounds hollow when tapped.
Experiment with different hard cheeses for this recipe. You can also add herbs for added interest. Prep time includes rise.
