Egg Bread Mix Instructions (Bread Maker)

We use the egg-bread mix to make our cinnamon-raisin loaf, cinnamon buns and any left-over bread can be made into scrumptious bread pudding.

Ingredients

3 large eggs

40 ml of oil (sunflower, canola, olive)

10 ml apple cider vinegar

110 ml luke warm water

contents of flour packet

contents of yeast packet

15 ml liquid honey

any additional ingredients used in some mixes (honey, cheese, raisins, etc).

Directions

1Add all liquid ingredients to the bowl of the bread-maker (oil, honey, water, milk, vinegar, eggs, etc).

2Start the machine.

3Shake the included yeast packet into the flour pack and, while holding the bag closed, shake to blend.

4Alternatively, pour the contents of the flour pack into a medium sized bowl and stir in the contents of the yeast packet.

5Pour this mixture over the liquid and scrape down the sides with a spatula, to incorporate powder, if needed.

6After mixing, it is best to remove the paddle before proofing/baking.

7Using a spatula dipped in water, smooth the surface of the loaf into a nice crown.

8Close the lid and let the machine complete its cycle.

9Remove from mold, as soon as cycle is complete and allow to cool on a rack.
